Overview
Hillcrest House is a nine bed residence for adults who have a primary diagnosis of mental illness and/or emotional disorder. The facility has been in business and under the same ownership since 1989. Consumers receive long term, transitional or respite care within a therapeutic home environment. A caring, experienced, 24 hour staff, and a team of professional consultants provide a structured, safe and stimulating living environment, where each consumer can maximize his or her full potential.
Consumers are encouraged to participate in a unique enrichment program that develops their individual talents.
Consumers also interact regularly within the community through employment, structured educational programs and voluntary participation in other educational, vocational and recreational programs. A comfortable home with professional support enables residents to learn life skills that promote self-reliance and independent living.
We welcome your prospective interest in our residential program. Referrals are welcome from anyone in the community. Fees for services vary depending on consumer needs and consumer specific services authorized. Payer sources typically include but are not limited to: Local Management Entities, Medicaid, and private pay.

- Care Technicians and Program Director- Some with High School diplomas, some with Bachelors degree
- Qualified Professional: Bachelor level education
- Quality Improvement Specialist- Masters level education
- Registered Nurse Consultant- Bachelors level education and licensed bi-annually
- Registered Dietician Consultant- Masters level education and licensed annually

Criteria for admission
Age 18 or older
Stable physical health
Currently under psychiatric care
Absence of violent behavior not controlled by medication
Able to maintain personal activities of daily living
Compliant with medication regime

Each consumer has his/her own individualized plan, outlining short and long term life goals. Hillcrest House staff focus on consumers' achieving their set goals by monitoring and assisting them every step of the way.
